Such a proud Auntie I am...This is the update from my sister-in-law about Victioria's Christmas goal....YOU GO GIRL!! How encouraging is this for us ADULTS?! See God uses EVERYONE, even 8 year olds, to bless those around them....I am so excited that I get to see how God is going to use Victoria through the years, YOU ARE A BLESSING sweet girl!! I will get started on those blankets :)....
I wanted to let you all know how Victoria's project went and thank everyone who helped her reach her goal. We went last night and spent 2 hours assembling Christmas packages for the homeless and underprivileged. Victoria contributed (with the help of many, many people) around 300 pairs of socks and about the same number of gloves. We were also able to take some of the monitary donations and purchase personal hygene items. Her goal was to give each person at least 3 pairs of socks and a couple of pairs of gloves in their package. She was able to do that and have some left over for others who may need them later. Expect another e-mail in 2009...she is already planning on collecting blankets for next year's packages! We are going back tomorrow morning to distribute the packages. She is also taking some of her toys to give away. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!!! ~Misty

Brandi, how awesome that you have a niece who reaches out like this. What a sweetheart and what a little servant! Oh my word, we adults can learn a lot from these sweet children.
