So I just got an email from Shane and his stay has been extended yet AGAIN!! I know I know, it is NOT like he is DEPLOYED, right?! Well I am beginning to think deployment is EASIER lol...The kids only say goodbye once, not every couple weeks....This happened on his last mission too, extended 1 day then 2 then 3....URRRGGGHHH....I hope he makes it back for Kempton's birthday!!! I am REALLY trying to be the "supportive" wife b/c I know he LOVES his job but it is HARD!! I kept telling him he was going to be gone a lot and he kept insisting oh no no, LIAR lol...Otay so that is my last whine for 09 hahaha...just had to get it out of my system!! Only 7 more years until retirement hahaha...No seriously, I am VERY THANKFUL for his job and PROUD he serves...Again, I am SELFISH and IMPATIENT and all those other things...that is why I can work with kids, we have the same attitude about life....IT'S ALL ABOUT ME LLLLLOOOOLLLL...Otay now I'm officially done......Much....luv......I'M OUT!!
