I haven't blogged here in a while so I wanted to update....We got back 2 weeks ago from our Texas visit...One of the highlights of the trip was meeting Shane's older sister Shonda and her children Britnee and A.J. Shonda is Shane's fathers child from his first marriage. We have seen her once for about 10 minutes in the last 15 years and prior to that I am not sure how long it had been for Shane. It was an awesome reunion, Shane was exstatic. We are still trying to explain it all to our kids b/c prior to this they only knew of their Aunt Misty, Shane's other sister from his parents. I just pray God's hand upon this new relationship and I pray it only grows.....
