We are heading to the states mid Feb or March and needing a few opinions...
I have NEVER really been into the jewelry thing, it irritates me after awhile...I have things I wear from time to time but to wear something EVERYDAY just bugs me...So we decided to get wedding band tattoos....I LOVE a good tat...Now it is just deciding on what to get and not regret what will be stuck on me through this life time, like one other tat I have lol....So here are a few options, voice your opinion!!
#1 A TEXAS longhorn the horns being the band wrapped to the back with his initials on the head of it...No I am not that huge of a fan but HE IS!! I could sacrafice my finger, it would probably make me smile each time I looked at it haha...burnt orange is the part I worry about lol...maybe a red, white, blue color instead kind of puts the "military" thing in to it too...
#2 His name, which seems silly b/c his name is already on my leg with an eagle
#3 Maybe each of us getting a word instead of a name like....

#4 Some celtic or tribal design, which I have no clue....
#5 A simple circle around the finger
#6 Triangles some how connected into a ring pattern...representing 3 b/c God, Him, and Me...it takes all 3 for it to work :)
#7 Any interesting idea you may have....I have small fingers remember :)

While I am a big fan of hanky and panky, my vote goes to one not listed. How about SBPH&K? In a need font, maybe caligraphy? Obvious symbolism of your family, but also something that, at first glance, will only be recognized by you guys.
If ya don't like that, hanky & panky is the winner!!
I'm not a big fan of the celtic rings unless you have a specific reason for it.
I have seen tats that have the partners initial(s) in caligraphy and I think that is nice. Simple and attractive.
Another idea is to come up with your own word. Jack and I wrote a song together back when we first started dating. Actually, he wrote the song, I came up with a word using both our names "Bejakana" And it has its own special meaning to us. We use the shortened version "jakana" for lots of things.
I had to laugh as I read your post because we are such complete opposites on this. I am such a fan of bling, bling, bling. The more sparkle, the better. :)

I LOVE both those ideas and now my wheels are spinning...I am probably going to end up with a finger that is completly purple or something, that will stand out...haha
Oh Toby I think we are going to get the HANKY....PANKY tattoed in a not so noticeable area, shoulder blade or something lol...
